An Amazing Party

The children and staff of Enyorata experienced a memorable celebration before Christmas provided by a friend of the orphanage who knows several of our board members. Kitoi is a safari guide who lives not far from Enyorata. He works with an American non-profit, Afrikids, that sponsors more than 50 children in primary and secondary school from the region where Enyorata is located. He brought family members to prepare and serve the feast and older children from AfriKids to lead our kids in games, dancing, and singing.

Our children looked adorable in the outfits a generous couple from Germany provided for them. They loved playing with the older kids, and many sported painted faces by the end of the day.

His family must have spent hours preparing the delicious meal. It was a day our children will never forget.

We send a big thank you to Kitoi for planning and preparing the party. We also give kudos and love to Laurie Evans, a Florida resident who is the founder of AfriKids and a good friend of Little Souls. And of course, as always, we are thankful for Vincent, who we know played a role in organizing this celebration.
